Exploring the Pacific Northwest
“There are over 200 incredible waterfalls in Oregon. And out of the many I have photographed, Panther Creek Falls is by far my favorite!” – Cody York
If you have been following along on our instagram page @operativbrand, we just gave away a 13” x 19” print of this photo along with an Operativ X2 Messenger Bag in Tiger Stripe Camo. “The iconic Multnomah Falls in Columbia River Gorge is the tallest waterfall in Oregon. It’s also one of the most popular, probably because of its accessibility, but that doesn’t stop me from taking pictures of it every time I visit. This is definitely a must see if you visit Portland as it’s only 30 minutes away.”
“There’s nothing quite like the Southern, Oregon coast!”
“One can’t help but feel small walking amongst these giant Redwoods. Some of these trees can reach heights of over 300ft and live for nearly 2,000 years! It’s hard to fathom the enormity of these trees until you’re standing beside them. I was shooting photos with my 16mm lens and it was barely wide enough to see the tops of the trees.”
“The trail to Silver Creek Falls had many great vantage points, but sometimes you have to venture off the beaten path to find what you’re looking for.”
Be sure to check out @operativbrand and @cyorkphoto on Instagram over the next few days for our next giveaway package!
